A very well-screened interconnect for this price point, with excellent resistance to RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), helping to ensure low noise levels and a neutral sound.
Based on the highly-regarded Element XLR interconnect, the Element Mezzo XLR by Atlas Cabls has been designed to meet the increasingly popular requirement for a cost-effective balanced cable with very little compromise in performance. The actual cable itself is identical, but the Mezzo uses a copper alloy body and gold-plated pins as opposed to the high-purity OFC pins and aluminium alloy-bodied plug of the Element XLR.
Atlas XLR plugs are wired as follows by default: Pin 1 = Ground; Pin 2 = Hot, Pin 3 = Cold. If you require a different configuration, please contact us. Always check your equipment manufacturer instructions before ordering.

Technology
- Copper Alloy XLR – The Mezzo XLR combines a copper-alloy bodied plug with with copper-alloy connectors and crimped (solder-free) construction.
- OFC Conductor- OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) was developed based on research that sound quality was related to the quality of copper and the processing used during cable manufacture.
- PEF (Foamed Polyethylene) Dielectric- The foaming process uses a blowing agent, of which there are two types. Atlas use the gas-foamed method which creates a more inert, consistent and higher quality product.
- 4-Core Construction – Individually matched conductors, one pair for Hot (+), the other pair Cold (-) enclosed within a protective woven screen.
