Clearway Analogue RCA Interconnect Cables, by The Chord Company.
Hand built in the UK, winner of What Hi-Fi? 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 Awards for Best Analogue interconnect £50+, and AV Tech Media Awards 2017/18 Best Interconnect Cable.
Chord have taken the design from their award-winning C-line range, and upgraded all the materials to produce an outstanding value for money, high-performance analogue interconnect.
The Chord ARAY geometry conductors are heavier gauge oxygen free copper, insulation has been upgraded to FEP and the shielding is a dual-layer counter-wound heavy gauge foil design. Clearway RCA is fitted with Chord direct silver-plated VEE 3 RCA plugs.
These improvements mean that the Clearway carries more musical detail. Dynamics are better, instruments and voices sound more realistic and there is better definition and clarity. The Clearway will let you see further into and get more involved with the music you listen to.
Right now cables need to be better than ever, there are very affordable turntables and digital players that deliver sound with real coherence. The jump in performance over the past couple of years has been amazing, especially in relation to less expensive equipment. They need a new generation of cables able to carry a signal with the musical coherence that the new digital and analogue players are producing.
Clearway Analogue RCA cables are turntable-ready as standard, and can also be supplied fitted with stereo 3.5mm mini jack plug for use in portable systems etc.
