Zephyr by Noble Audio is a premium hybrid-driver in-ear monitor earphone.
The concept behind Zephyr is a return to the basics of three-driver sound reproduction. While some IEMs have as many as seven crossovers, the Zephyr just has three drivers with no electronic crossovers to interfere or create artifacts in your music.
With a focus on the quality of each driver and not the quantity, Zephyr features a proprietary 10 mm dynamic driver for bass and sub-bass, a Knowles balanced armature driver specially made to reproduce the midrange, plus another specialised Knowles balanced armature driver for the high frequencies.
The result is impactful sub-bass, non-overwhelming yet very satisfying bass, mids that are not submerged by the bass or high tones, and clear yet non-fatiguing highs. As one reviewer has commented, the Zephyr looks to be a “giant killer.”
The shell of Zephyr is all-aluminium, plus an aluminium / resin matrix faceplate. It features a semi-recessed 2-pin 0.78 mm socket, and stainless wax guard.
Zephyr is supplied with Noble’s highly-regarded 8-Core OCC Copper cable, to ensure perfect transmission from player to earphone.
